Life Story for
Jeanne Carol Cohick
Jeanne Cohick, 80, went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, February 20, 1937 to Lenore and Anthony Meyer.
Jeanne grew up in southern California where she met and married the love of her life Maynard. To this union they were blessed with three children. They were married for 16 years until his tragic death. She loved horseback riding, interior design, gardening, her family and her church. Jeanne was a member of the East Sunshine Church of Christ since 2006 and was the owner/operator of the Emory Creek Bed and Breakfast in Branson, MO. She will be greatly missed by all whose hearts have been touched by her.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived be her three children Steve Cohick (wife Deanna), Julie Harper (husband Rich) and Jenny Cohick, four grandchildren Gavin and Collin Cohick and Zoie and Ian Daniels and countless friends.
A celebration of life will take place at 3pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte, 4500 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, MO 65804. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the East Sunshine Church of Christ, 3721 E. Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65809.
