Robin Lee Letterman
Robin Lee Letterman, 36, of Springfield, MO passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital surrounded by her family.
Robin was born on Friday, June 26, 1981 in Springfield, MO to Danny and Sheryl (Hess) Letterman. A Central High School graduate, Robin earned her associate degree from Drury University in 2015 and was one semester away from graduating with a bachelor's in criminal justice. Robin's son, Ryan, was the love of her life. The two were inseparable and enjoyed spending their weekends on Stockton Lake and eating at their favorite restaurant, Nakatos. In addition to being a single mom and full-time student, Robin was an administrative assistant for the Polk County Public Defenders Office and an active supporter of Springfield nonprofit Women in Need of the Ozarks. She was a giving spirit, always reaching out to help those close to her. Robin was also a people collector, remaining in contact with just about everyone she came across over the years.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, an aunt and a cousin.
Robin is survived by her son Ryan Brandenburg and his father John, her parents Danny and Sheryl Letterman, one brother Adam Letterman (wife Emily), as well as eight aunts, uncles and their spouses and 18 cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State Hwy. EE, Springfield, MO 65802. Internment will take place at a later date at the Eastlawn Cemetery.
