Condolence From: Linda and Ron Brammer
Condolence: We were saddened to learn of the death of Mary Ellen and would like to express our condolences to you and your family.
Mary Ellen was a caregiver to Ron's mother (Ann Brammer) when Ann lived with us. She came every Friday evening for a few hours to give us a welcomed respite from our caregiving duties. Sort of a date night out!
Over the years, she became a wonderful friend whom we enjoyed seeing on a regular basis. Even after Ann moved to a nursing home in Texas to be near her daughters, I continued to keep in touch with Mary Ellen through phone calls and a yearly date for lunch around her birthday. Our last visit was this spring when I came to her home to see her with my four-year old granddaughter. Both of them enjoyed that short time together.
I met some of your family briefly at the graveside service for Mary Ellen's husband in 2009. Unfortunately, we will be out of town and will be unable to attend Mary Ellen's service.
Mary Ellen was a caring, thoughtful, and sweet woman whom we were blessed to call our friend. We will miss her and will keep your family in our prayers.
