Bobby Joe Aldridge, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 28, 2017. Bobby died after a long illness surrounded by his children. He was born on October 27, 1934. He married Faye Marie Goforth on July 14, 1956 in Cabool, Missouri and to this union three children were born.

Surviving is his 3 children, Brenda Clinton and husband of Repubic, MO, Linda Rider and husband of Cleburne, TX, and Robert Aldridge of Springfield, MO, as well as 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and his sister Vernetta Swartz and husband from Hesperia, CA. Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife Faye, his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Bobby graduated from Summersville High School, Summersville, MO and was born and raised in the Tyrone community. He enjoyed his life. He loved his family, enjoyed stock car races, baseball, gardening, and small engine mechanics.
The family is grateful to Dr. Jessica Snider and staff at the Mercy Oncology Center and the nurses at Mercy Hospital who gave Bobby such tender care, love and compassion.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel (5234 W. State Hwy EE) with visitation to be held one hour prior at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
